QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test scenarios (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, performance, exploratory tests) for new and prevailing applications aligning with the product requirement.
• Articulate the objective of the specified product requirement and plan, create, execute, and automate test scenarios, working with the product team corresponding to the delivery timelines.
• Execute the test cases in multiple business scenarios, corroborate and evaluate the testing outcomes, and recommend remedial action.
• Identify, administer, prioritize, and maintain defects and test scenarios databases, and customize communication accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessment and risk-based testing and assess the probability of an error in a testing cycle.
• Monitor emerging quality issues through an aggregate traceability matrix and analyze to understand the root cause of the bugs and flags that emerge in testing and provide resolution.
• Manifest adaptability, collaboration, and compliance towards the industry's best practices

Qualification:

• BCA, B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, or equivalent degree.
• 1 - 3 years of quality assurance testing experience.
• Should have obtained certification in software testing.
• An applicant with ISTQB accreditation may gain an additional consideration.
